Family IDs
About Family IDs
This category is where your clients can store up-to-date digital copies of important information for each of their family members and pets.
Clients can easily store digital copies of their driver's licenses, passports, and travel memberships, keeping them up-to-date and accessible from anywhere. These documents can also be shared securely with expiring links to ensure maximum privacy.
Adding a New Family Member or Pet
To add a new family member or pet, clients can do any of the following:
Click the “Add more +” button
Click “Add family member +” or “Add pet +”
Clients will notice a step-by-step list on the left panel of the screen listing each item they will need in order to complete the tile. These steps will be marked complete as they progress through the workflow.
Adding Details
When adding each of the items, clients will be prompted to include a photo. When adding photos or documents from a computer, they can drag and drop or use the “Browse files” option to choose the file from their computer.
Clients also have the option to rename files and create their own sections for any other attachments at the bottom of the details screen.
If a file is uploaded with the incorrect orientation, you can click on the image thumbnail to open the preview screen. From here you can click "rotate" on the right toolbar to adjust the orientation. Click "Save" when done.
Notes can also be added to the Family IDs section. The Notes section is encrypted and can be used to help personalize the account.
Does your client use an iPhone?
When adding their photo, driver’s license, and passport, clients may want to use the iPhone mobile app to quickly and securely add their information to Trustworthy. Scanning a driver’s license or passport via the Trustworthy mobile app will also automatically populate the text fields.
Automatic Reminders
As clients enter expiration dates for a Driver’s License and a Passport (or scan them in using the mobile app) the system will automatically create reminders.
Clients will see the reminders show up on the left side of the details screen, in the calendar icon at the top right of the screen, and on the dashboard.
Trustworthy reminder dates are based on the amount of time it will take to renew a specific item. For example, passport reminders gives you much more lead time ahead of the expiry compared to licenses, as Passports take much longer to renew. The birthdate reminder is set a week in advance for everyone in the account.
